82nd Avenue Study: Open Testimony to City Council on 23-May

We previously told you about the draft report published by the Portland Bureau of Planning & Sustainability – 82nd Avenue Study: Understanding Barriers to Development —

We received notification that there is a scheduled hearing with the city council at 2:00 PM on Thursday 23-May.

The 82nd Avenue Study: Understanding Barriers to Development looks at the development potential of properties along 82nd Avenue and identifies barriers to new development and pedestrian safety. The study presents ideas that can be addressed in the near term with an eye toward long-term solutions.
Community members are invited to review the 82nd Avenue Study: Understanding Barriers to Development Recommended Draft Report and testify to City Council on May 23 at 2 p.m. or send their testimony in writing.

Join teachers, parents, staff and friends at The Arleta Spring Thing! This event is open to the community — so spread the word and bring a friend! We’re hosting an outdoor-themed benefit to raise money for outdoor education at Arleta!
Sunday, May 19th 4 – 7pm
at the Lagunitas Community Room
237 NE Broadway St #300, Portland, OR 97232
Your $20 ticket includes a taco bar dinner from Robo Taco and a free drink token for your favorite Lagunitas beverage! We’ll have bingo, a raffle, a cornhole championship, Giant Jenga and more!
Gather up your friends and get ready to have fun for a great cause!! We’re working toward funding an outdoor educator for the 2019/2020 school year, plus a nature-filled field trip for the incoming Kindergarteners. What better way to raise the money than throw an awesome party?! See you there!
