Last August, we reported on the Shun Fat Supermarket taking over the former Fred-Meyer. Since then that post has become the most viewed ever on this website.
We have some even more exciting news to share and that is the Grand Opening celebration on Friday 14-June!
As you can see from this post in April-18, it was just over one year ago that the Foster Streetscape construction began.
We spoke to the PBOT yesterday and they let us know that the project is in the final push of completion. They hope to wrap up by next week.
Lo and behold, after last night, we have bike lanes!
We also confirmed with PBOT that the speed limit on Foster Road is 25 MPH. Feedback was given that more speed limit signs need to be added, if that’s the case.
