The Foster-Powell NA has endorsed a letter to the Portland Development Commission regarding fuding priorities for the future development of the Lents Urban Renewal Area (URA). Foster Road from 82nd to 50th was included in the URA in 2008.

The Treasurer is responsible for all funds belonging to the neighborhood association and receives, deposits, and disburses funds for the neighborhood association. The Treasurer also makes financial reports as to the Board.

The City of Portland is updating its Comprehensive Plan, a long-range 20-year plan that sets the framework for the physical development of the city. Portland originally developed it’s Comprehensive Plan in 1980; periodic updates of the plan are mandated by the State of Oregon. The Comprehensive Plan Update will help to implement the Portland Plan, the City’s strategic plan for a prosperous, educated, healthy and equitable Portland.
