Find out what’s possible on a city lot and get inspired by your neighborhood “green thumbs” with this self-guided tour.
The Foster-Powell Garden Tour is organized annually by the Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association. It is held on the third Saturday in June and free for anyone who would like to attend.
The 2016 Garden Tour features 18 diverse garden properties. Each neighborhood yard has been selected for proximity (in walk-able groupings) and for their educational value and distinct uses. Some yards will be brand new installations while others have been established for a few years or more.
Date: Saturday, June 18th
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Access the Garden Tour map here
Don’t have a printer? Printed maps are available at Dennis’ 7 Dees (6025 SE Powell Blvd.), the Holgate Library (7905 SE Holgate Blvd.) and at Foster Burger (5339 SE Foster Rd).
