The Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association is an all-volunteer group, and we are always looking for more volunteers! Some examples of ways you can help:
Neighborhood Cleanup Crew
Do you have an interest in pitching in to help clean up your neighborhood? Tired of seeing trash floating around our streets? Then do something about it! Contact us for more details.
2019 Holiday Events
We’re planning ahead for the next holiday season already! Do you love the holidays and want to share your passion for the season with your neighbors? Join us and help figure out what sort of event we want to host. Pictures with Santa? Tree lighting in the park? Caroling?
Update the Welcome to Foster/Powell Neighborhood Sign
We’re kicking off a project to do a make-over on the sign that welcomes everyone to our neighborhood (see it here and here). Would you like to help with the planning, fundraising, and/or creation of a new, wonderful sign? Get involved!
Other Existing Events
Do you like planning events? Do you enjoy the yearly neighborhood clean up, Foster-Powell Garden Tour, National Night Out party, Movie in the Park, and others? These events are organized by your all-volunteer neighborhood association, and we can always use more helping hands!
Foster-Powell Community Garden
The garden is looking for regular volunteers to help with upkeep and maintenance. Contact Stacey at 62ndgarden@
Are you interested in a longer-term opportunity? Consider joining the board!
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to talk about any of these opportunities. You can also attend our monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30p to see what we have going on!
