The Neighborhood Association yesterday received notice of a planned emergency shelter for homeless adults in the vacant property at 6144 SE Foster Road. A community meeting will be held with Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, Multnomah County Commissioner Jessica Vega Pederson, and Joint Office of Homeless Services director Marc Jolin.
