Calling Foster-Powell Gardeners!

Give us your roses, your fig trees, your huddled veggies yearning to breathe free…

We’re gearing up for the 14th annual Foster Powell Garden Tour on Saturday, June 17th (10am-2pm).  The Garden Tour is a celebration of our neighborhood and all types of gardens are welcome: traditional, edible, artistic, and naturescaped.

If you would like to nominate your garden or a neighbor’s garden, please email community.garden@fosterpowell.com by May 27th. You can see last year’s garden tour flyers at this link.

We Want Your Garden

…on the 12th annual Foster-Powell Garden Tour!

We need all kinds of gardens on the tour. From manicured to natural habitats. From lawns and decorative beds to urban homesteads. We want to see it all! All you have to do is open your garden up for your neighbors to have a look. You don’t have to be an expert in your plants. People just enjoy seeing what their neighbors like to grow!

Garden Submission Form

If you would like to submit your garden for the tour, please fill out the form below —

Garden submissions are closed for this year! Please plan to join us in 2020.

Two Events on Saturday 16-June: Garden Tour and Paint the Town Green

11th Annual Foster-Powell Garden Tour

Saturday, June 16th 9AM – 1PM
Paint the Town Green
Meet at Essex Park, 7730 SE Center St (map)
Kink 101.9 FM, Solve, Metro Graffiti Program, South East Uplift and Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association invite you to help make the neighborhood even more beautiful.  We will meet at Essex Park for breakfast snacks and a quick training then start the clean-up on 82nd and SE Powell Blvd (route map).  In teams we will work our way south on both sides of 82nd to pick up trash and remove graffiti. At the end of the clean-up lunch will be provided at a central location for all of the participating neighborhoods.
