Greetings, neighbors,
Michael Geffel, a resident of the Creston-Kenilworth Neighborhood Association, has requested our Neighborhood Association’s endorsement of a grant proposal to bring improvements to the SE Center St. Bikeway intersecting the Creston-Kenilworth and Foster-Powell Neighborhoods.
Mr. Geffel is seeking funding for this proposal through the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s Portland in the Streets Community Grant Program. The deadline to submit grant proposals is August 31st. The Creston-Kenilworth Neighborhood Association endorsed Mr. Geffel’s “Creston Foster is Neon” proposal at their July 24 meeting.
In order to review Mr. Geffel’s proposal prior to the August 31 deadline set by PBOT, the Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association Board has agreed to hear his proposal and request for endorsement at a special meeting on August 16th, prior to the Essex Park Movie in the Park event.
You can view the proposal here. Meeting details are below.
Hope to see you there!
Date: Wednesday, August 16th
Time: 6:30pm to 7pm
Location: Essex Park, Essex Park, 7730 SE Center St.
