Submit Proposals for the Tabor Commons Property

Southeast Uplift — the neighborhood coalition of which Foster-Powell is a member — has announced the hiring of a local Property Management Company to manage the Tabor Commons property and are releasing a Request for Proposals (RFPs) to rent the property to a non-profit on a 24 month lease.

This decision came after our initial assessment and community outreach process in October revealed that further assessment will be necessary to make a thoughtful and informed decision about the property’s future. Community members indicated a desire that the space be utilized, even if only on a temporary basis, until a long-term decision can be made. In December, the SE Uplift Board agreed to take down the fences and welcome a new tenant while a long-term decision is explored over the next two years.
